All true, mostly amusing vignettes of my life. Stories that I have told for years, to friends, passerbys and almost anyone that stands in one place long enough to listen.

Chronicling before I start to forget details.

As an introduction to the unaware, I am Chuck Eichmann, as of 2021 67 years old. Growing up in Lancaster PA, heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch area, moving to Virginia upon retirement. I worked for 20+ years in the restaurant industry 16 years of those as an Executive Chef. My second career started at age 46, burnt out in the kitchen, facing divorce and uncertainty, I became a compositor at a financial printing company, retiring after 20 years as a supervisor.

Both careers and a rich social life left me with a plethora of stories and occurrences that I intend to document in this site. At this point, stories are in no chronological or any other order, just what I decide day to day.

In the interest of full disclosure, I remarried my wife after 6 years of divorce and have continued to blissfully share our life ever since.
